Hello everyone π,
Ideally each month I will be able to provide a new type of content. This will be a shorter version with a different take regarding the insights shared on the Long Missing SoW as well as sharing other creators and ideas to enrich our perspective. This email is a laid-back text, where you can get your popcorn bucket and enjoy the resources and references shared here.
The longer format is scheduled for each Friday with fresh content and with a different take on subjects π». If you have a suggestion or a topic that you would like me to cover, feel free to reach me β via substack or social media. Any suggestions are truly welcome.

SoW Sharing Corner
Sharing some interesting reads from the world of Substack and beyond.
During February a set of three posts was released on the SoW, covering the topic of recruitment in IT from planning to execution. The post which is shared below covers how the candidates are poorly evaluated and how important it is to go beyond the CV. Itβs indeed an interesting read from
which helps improve the interview meeting. On the subject of entrepreneurship,
shares her experience of how she managed a board game cafe from inception, Covid, and later to her realization to sell the business. She goes on about the hardships and complexity of managing a brick-and-mortar business, but most importantly, Leah shares the lessons learned. The State of the SoW
The SoW completes its first month! π
It has been a good experience and I am learning a lot along the way. Because I am also learning how to grow an audience, I didnβt share this newsletter with anyone, besides very close friends and my girlfriend. During one month the newsletter has grown from 5 to around 30 subscribers.
The most successful post on the SoW is a funny story. Since I am new to the platform, I was still learning how to edit and how to do stuff overall. During one of my cosmetics edits on several scheduled posts, I accidentally hit the button βPublishβ on the AI post. Which meant the text was shared without proper proofreading and way before schedule.
Until that moment I was planning each publication to be sent every Tuesday, but after this small accident, I just embraced the new schedule, and the SoW is now launched each Friday.
To continue to grow an audience, I am using Twitter/X to get some traffic into the newsletter. It has paid some dividends in the form of subscribers, but I am still hitting some walls and learning how to attract more readers. It seems Substack itself is the king of the newsletterβs reach.
Meme of month
I am excited to see the welcoming of a post scheduled for mid-March, below the meme featured on a new take about leadership.
Thatβs it! Hope you liked this shorter format and wish you a great week.
Cheers,
Artur
